Clean Kerala 2013 postponed
We have been forced to postpone Clean Kerala 2013, the three-day business-to-business summit scheduled to start on August 8 because of the heavy rains that have lashed Kerala since Sunday. We regret the inconvenience caused and expect to announce the new dates shortly.
Incessant rain and flooding have affected the operations of the Cochin International Airport. Though the airport is expected to restart on Tuesday, many flights have been diverted. Other modes of transport were also disturbed. Many of the exhibitors have requested us to postpone the event.
Clean Kerala 2013 has attracted more than 100 companies and consultancies who want to showcase their innovations at the state’s premier business-to-business summit dedicated to waste management and cleaning technologies. We have no other way but to postpone the event given the unpredictable weather conditions in Kerala.
An associated seminar on “ideas in cleaning methods, waste and water management”, planned to be held on August 9 at Hotel Park Central, Kaloor, is also postponed. The date will be announced later.
